  Twin States Home Health is located in Vernon, Alabama, near the Mississippi Border. Our store address is 131 1st Avenue NW, and our mailing address is P.O. Box 828.

• What are your business hours?

  Both our store and our business office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed on weekends and most major holidays, though we do offer 24 hour emergency service.

• What type of insurance do you accept?

  Twin States is a certified acceptor of both Medicare and Medicaid insurance, as well as most private insurance policies. We do not accept Healthsprings insurance.

• How much coverage does my insurance provide?

  Typically, insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, will cover 80% of the costs for your prescribed medical equipment. The patient is responsible for the remaining 20%, although a secondary policy may be applied to that amount, if the patient carries a second insurance.

• What equipment and supplies are covered by insurance?

  Most medical equipment and supplies that are required by a doctor and verified by a written prescription are covered by insurance policies. However, bathroom equipment and supplies are typically not covered.

• What other types of payment do you accept?

  In addition to insurance, Twin States accepts personal payments from patients in the form of cash or personal check.

• Are prescriptions necessary for my medical equipment or supplies?

  Prescriptions are not always necessary, however to assure insurance coverage, prescriptions are required for many products, including beds, CPAP machines, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, lifts, trapeze bars, seat lift chairs, nebulizers, powerchairs, scooters, diabetic supplies, ostomy supplies, and other equipment.

• Can I get assistance in learning how to use my equipment?

  Twin States proudly offers training on all of the medical equipment it supplies and will assist the patient and the patient's loved ones and caregivers in the proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

• Do you ship items to my home or provide home delivery?

  Twin States does not offer shipping on its medical equipment and supplies but we do offer free home delivery and set up by qualified personnel.

• Do you see used medical equipment ad supplies?

  We do offer used medical equipment as a cash purchase availability.

• Can I order online?

  At this time, Twin States does not offer online ordering or equipment purchases.
